Training advice
Training activities are conducted through the City Social Service Development Project Council under the supervision of the City Social Service Office managed under this office.
To make a living, learning computer is a must these days. There is nothing new to say about this. It is not only computer work that requires computer use. Even in non-computer-dependent jobs, computer knowledge is considered an additional qualification. If an employee doesn't know how to operate a keyboard, checking or replying to a simple e-mail can become a chore. The use of computers increases the productivity of an employee many times. Actually computer education is a platform, whatever train you want to take to build your life, you have to reach this platform.
06 (six) months duration "Computer Office Application" course training is provided under Bangladesh Technical Education Board through City Social Services Office, Barisal. 90 (Ninety) unemployed women and men are trained in each batch. At the end of the training, the certificate is issued by the Bangladesh Technical Education Board.
02 (twice) admissions in January-June and July-December sessions in a year. Admission notification is published in December and June for admission. Based on the application, 90 (ninety) people get the opportunity to get admission through the admission selection test.
Here meritorious poor, destitute, Dalit Harijans, Hijra community and orphan residents get admission.
By taking 06 (six) months "Computer Office Application" training of City Social Services, many trainees have got employment opportunities in various government and non-government organizations.
Each trainee receives training on a designated computer when they undergo training. Here monthly tests are conducted to check the monthly progress of the trainees.
It is worth noting that the classes are conducted separately for men and women and through multimedia projectors.
